Exclusive – Manchester City defender admits future is uncertain

first_imgManchester City defender Micah Richards admits his future is up in the air.The 26-year-old, currently on loan at Serie A side Fiorentina, is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a switch to Inter Milan, where former manager Roberto Mancini is in charge.And Richards, who has also been touted with a move to Juventus, claims the lure of first-team football will be one of his main deciding factors.“It’s difficult to say [where I will play] at the moment,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. “Every wants to play in the Premier League, it’s still the best league in the world and the most entertaining.“But I wouldn’t mind staying in Italy because we’re doing well at the moment.“I’ve been linked with Inter Milan with my old manager Roberto Mancini, so I have a few options.“I just want to go somewhere where I’m going to play the most.“Every footballer can go to a bigger club on a free contract but for me, I’m still only 26 and I just want to play every game, that’s what’s important.”last_img read more
